A teenager was critically injured after he was hit with bullets in Soibug area of Budgam on Friday.

Following the killing of police man in Wadwan, the government forces’ had launched searched in the area to nab the assailants.

However, the youth pelted stones with forces in the main town. In retaliation the forces opened fire on them; few of them hit him in thigh and rib.

The youth Majid Ahmad Mir (20) was rushed to nearby PHC Soibug where from he has been shifted to SKIMS Bemina in critical condition.
