While breaking the silence over Shopian militant, civilian killings Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said that “Islam doesn’t permit us to embrace death at the young age.”

She said this a day after five civilians, five militants were killed during gunfight, clashes with government forces’ at the South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.

The protesters were protesting to save the militants who were holed up in the house at encounter site.

Five militants were killed, including top Hizb commander Saddam Paddar and missing Kashmir University Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafi.
