A civilian was killed and several others were injured during clashes with government forces’ near encounter site at Bandigam village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, India Today reported.

The clashes were erupted between youths and government forces’ soon after the news of encounter spread among the people.

The people gathered in streets and tried to breach the cordon and march towards gunfight site. They were confronted by forces’ resulting to massive clashes.

During the clashes one youth was critically injured and had died later.
