Chief Secretary takes stock of arrangements for smooth opening of Durbar

Chief Secretary B B Vyas Sunday took stock of the arrangements put in place for opening of offices as part of the annual Durbar move to the summer capital Srinagar.

The Civil Secretariat will start functioning in Srinagar from Monday, May 7, 2018.

Chief Secretary visited the Civil Secretariat and inspected the arrangements in offices of various departments including the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

He also inspected the new office facilities constructed adjacent to the main Secretariat building.

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, DC Srinagar, SSP Security Civil Secretariat, SSP Srinagar, Director Estates, President Civil Secretariat, Employees Union   and other senior officers were also present.

Vyas also visited the various Government residential quarters of employees in Srinagar including Budshah and Tulsi Bagh flats. He took stock of the sanitation, drinking water and electricity facilities besides the security arrangements.
