Shut down observed in South Kashmir against killing of a civilian

 

A complete shutdown is being observed in South Kashmir on Thursday against the killing of a civilian by the government forces.

Sources said that a complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama, Shopian, and Anantnag districts of South Kashmir.

Meanwhile, sources said that all shops, business establishments and schools are also shut.

Pertinently, a ninth class student, Umar Kumar, a resident of Pinjoora village of Shopian was killed and thirty civilians were also injured in government forces’ action near an encounter site at Turkewangan on Wednesday evening.
