Srinagar: Government forces Tuesday morning laid siege to Nildoora village of Imam sahib area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Reports said that acting on inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of forces including army’s 44 RR, 178 CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police’s SOG launched a search operation in the area. 

They said that all the entry and exit points have been sealed in the village and a door to door search operation is on.
