Poonch: Intense cross border firing and shelling in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch’s Mendhar sub-division has resumed after a gap of 18 hours. 

Earlier cross border firing and shelling continued in the area from Sunday morning to late evening hours.

On Monday afternoon at about 02:35 PM, cross border firing and shelling started heavily officials said.

Several civilian areas along LoC are also affected due to firing and shelling, they added.
