Jaish says attacked CRPF party in revenge for killing four militants

Srinagar:  Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) on Sunday evening attacked a CRPF patrolling party in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, the outfit’s spokesperson said adding that one forces personnel was killed and several critically injured.

In a statement, Mohammad Hassan said JeM men carried out the attack on a CRPF patrolling party near Pulwama police station.

The attack was revenge for “Pulwama martyrs”, he said, adding, that the armed resistance will continue till the presence of the last Indian soldier in Kashmir.

The spokesperson paid tributes to Jaish militants killed in Pulwama on Saturday and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved families. (GNS)
