Police on  Sunday said that there was no stone pelting in Bemina area which according to IG CRPF  led to CRPF vehicle turning turtle and leading to injuries to 19 of their men

Media reports quoted SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Paarray as saying that based on CCTV camera footage it was clear that there was no stone pelting in the area and the mishap occurred as the CRPF driver lost control over the vehicle.

“The CCTV footage was procured and it is clearly seen that the driver lost control which resulted in the mishap,” SSP said

Earlier, IG CRPF Ravideep Sahi  had said that that the  after some “miscreants pelted stones” on the vehicle.
