Ruling Bharatiya Janta Party  BJP Sunday elected MLA Nowshera Ravinder Raina  as the new State President.

Raina is considered to have strong anti-Hurriyat and Pakistan views.

His appointment comes after Sat Sharma was inducted into the cabinet.
