Srinagar, September 30: In a tragic incident in Bhaleesa, Doda district, an altercation over a land dispute escalated, leading to the death of Ishtiyaq Ahmad Wani, a teacher by profession.
The altercation started between Ishtiyaq and his younger brother, Imtiyaz Ahmed, who serves as a Special Police Officer (SPO).
An official said that the dispute erupted in Sanwara, Bhaleesa, and took a deadly turn. Imtiyaz Ahmed allegedly attacked his elder brother Ishtiyaq during the altercation, resulting in Ishtiyaq’s immediate demise.
The police have taken swift action and apprehended the accused, Imtiyaz Ahmed.
