Pattan, March 02: A teenage girl hanged herself to death in Uglar village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
An official said that a 14-year-old girl hanged herself today afternoon at her home in Uglar Goshbugh village, following which she was immediately rushed to a nearby Trauma hospital Pattan where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
He said police have taken cognisance of the matter and a case has been registered.
The official said further investigation has been initiated in this regard. kns
