Srinagar, Apr 25: Union minister of state in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh on Monday said that it was not for them to decide about holding elections in Jammu and Kashmir as there are separate institutions for this.
Talking to reporters in Baramulla, Singh said that it is not for them to decide about the elections, but BJP is the kind of party which is always ready for elections and its workers are working on ground 24*7.
“Whether it is parliament election, assembly election or panchayat election our workers are always ready. But it is not for us to decide about election, there are separate institutions for this and these are constitutional bodies that decide about election,” he added.
On being asked about unemployment in J&K, he said that unemployment is everywhere in India including Jammu and Kashmir, however, a responsible government like the one led by PM Modi is always working on creating avenues that can provide employment to the youth.
Replying to a query, he said that inaugurating projects initiated by the Congress government means that they failed to complete them and it their government (BJP) which is completing these projects and bringing development to the door steps of the people. kns
