Srinagar, Mar 21: A civilian who shot at and injured by unknown gunmen, suspected to be militants, in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday evening succumbed to injuries, officials said.
In a statement, Police said militants barged into the house of one civilian Tajamul Mohi-ud-din Dar resident of Gotpora area of Budgam and fired indiscriminately upon him.
“In this terror incident, he had sustained critical gunshot injuries and was immediately shifted to nearby hospital for the treatment, however, doctors declared him dead on arrival.”
