Srinagar, Sep 07: Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday witnessed 126 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,264, however, no death was reported in last 24 hours.

With no more death, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,409 and 126 fresh positive cases reported on Tuesday has pushed the tally of positive cases to 326,159.

Of the exact number of 326,159 cases, 202,966 are from Kashmir division and 123,193 from Jammu division. Officials said that among 126 new cases, 92 belong to Kashmir division while as 34 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 202,966 including 199,709 recoveries and 2,244 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,193 including 120,776 recoveries and 2,166 deaths.

The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,264 including 1,013 from Kashmir division and 251 from Jammu division.

With 148 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 320,485 which is 98.26 percent of the total cases.

“Cases tested positive in J&K include 46 from Srinagar, 20 from Baramulla, 13 from Budgam, 02 from Pulwama, 02 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 01 from Bandipora, 01 from Ganderbal, 06 from Kulgam and 01 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 34 from Jammu division include 04 from Jammu, 02 from Udhampur, 02 from Rajouri, 02 from Doda, 07 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 02 from Kishtwar, 00 from Poonch, 01 from Ramban and 16 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.

Meanwhile, authorities on Tuesday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 45.

As per officials figures, 72,763 positive cases including 836 deaths and 71,369 recoveries are from Srinagar, 23,989 including 282 deaths and 23,567 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,287 including 22,936 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,366 including 15,130 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,264 including 166 deaths and 14,072 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,459 including 16,230 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,654 cases including 9,525 and 101 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,150 including 10,044 recoveries and 78 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,433 including 11,298 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,601 including 5,538 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.

In Jammu division, 53,053 including 51,851 recoveries and 1,142 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,385 including 11,243 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,113 including 10,856 recoveries and 235 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,630 including 7,417 recoveries and 130 deaths are from Doda, 9,286 including 9,135 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,138 including 7,013 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,794 including 4,728 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,326 including 6,218 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 6,000 including 5,919 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,468 including 6,396 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.

As per the daily information bulletin 3,333,245 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 8,195 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,264 persons are in isolation.

According to the bulletin, 2,853,133 persons have completed the surveillance period and 466,243 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 13,682,053 samples are available. Out of 13,682,053 the number of samples tested negative stands at 13,355,894 while as 326,159 have tested positive, among them 1,264 persons are active, 326,159 persons have recovered and 4,410 persons have died.
