Kupwara, May 21: Police on Thursday claimed that they arrested a man and recovered grenades and bullets from his possession in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Police sources said that soldiers from 28 Rashtriya Rifles and SOG personnel arrested a man – a farmer by profession from Wani Doosra area of Lolab Kupwara.
From his possession, they said that 3 live grenades and 60 bullets of AK-47 rifle were recovered.
The person has been identified as Rashid Ahmed Lone, a resident of Naaga Keran village. knt
