Srinagar: A militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight between militants and government forces in Khanmoh area of Srinagar on Monday, police said.
Police in a tweet said that one militant has been killed and operation is going on.
Earlier a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Khanmoh.
As the joint team of forces encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.
