Poonch, Oct 23: The armies of India and Pakistan on Friday evening exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu region.
Army’s PRO from Jammu, Devander Anand said that in Qasba and Kirni area of Poonch sector, Pakistani army violated ceasefire on Friday at around 06 PM.
“Pak initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing small arms and shelling mortars along Line of Control in Kirni, Qasba and Malti areas of Poonch,” said PRO.
He added that Indian Army is giving a befitting reply.
