Srinagar: Pakistan army violated ceasefire in Krishna Ghati and Nowshera sectors of Jammu and Kashmir at about 3:30 am on Monday.

The army again resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the Line of Control (LoC) in the Nowshera sector at about 5:30 am. The Indian Army guarding the LoC retaliated befittingly, sources said.

“At about 0330 hours today, Pak army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and intense shelling with mortars along LoC in Krishnagati Sector in Poonch district,” a defence spokesman said.

“Again at about 0530 hours Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector, district Rajouri,” he said.

The defence personnel said that the Indian Army is strongly retaliated to the unprovoked ceasefire violation.
