Islamabad, Apr 11: Seven terrorists were killed in an operation carried out by the Pakistani security forces in the country’s northwest tribal district of North Waziristan, a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

The ISPR, Pakistan army’s media wing, said on late Friday night that two soldiers also lost their lives in the operation conducted in Zakir Khel area of North Waziristan, a district in the country’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to the ISPR, the operation was conducted after receiving reliable intelligence information.

There is no information about the identification of the killed terrorists yet.
