In light of “panic among people”, Mehbooba requests Farooq Abdullah to convene all party meet

Srinagar: Peoples Democratic President (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti has requested National Conference leadfers and member Lok Sabha to convene an all party meet to discuss the recent developments and panic among people of Jammu and Kashmir.

“In light of recent developments that have caused a sense of panic amongst people in J&K, I’ve requested Dr Farooq Abdullah sahab to convene an all party meeting. Need of the hour is to come together & forge a united response. We the people of Kashmir need to stand up as one,” she said

There are strong rumors that centre is likely getting ready to abrogate article 35 A of the constitution in the state. The rumours got strengthened after political leaders shared several official orders wherein forces are being asked to get ready for a major event.
