Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik and Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh on Wednesday discussed overall security arrangements, including preparations for ongoing Amarnath yatra.
A Raj Bhavan official said that Lt Gen Singh met the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
Lt Gen Singh briefed the Governor about the overall security situation obtaining in the state and the anti-terrorist operations being conducted by the Army.
The Governor called for continuing the excellent real time coordination and synergy between the Security Forces and the Civil Administration.
Mr Malik and the Army Commander also discussed the security arrangements in place for the ongoing Amarnath Yatra
