Traffic will resume from both sides of Sgr-Jammu highway from tomorrow after 10 months

Srinagar: The authorities have decided to allow traffic from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar  Highway from Thursday.

Traffic officials said that from Thursday tomorrow light vehicles will be allowed to ply from both sides and heavy vehicles will be allowed to ply from one side on the highway.

“During  rain or bad weather drivers and passengers must contact with traffic department so that they can’t face any problem during journey,” official said.

From 5 October 2018 the national highway which connects jammu to srinagar and srinagar to rest country, this national highway remained closed near about for three months. A

Another official said that the Srinagar-Jammu highway from Nasri to Banihal was under construction besides the macadamisation and repairing was going on in full swing.(KNO)
