Srinagar:An under trial OGW gave police a slip and managed to escape from District court complex Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon. .
According to sources the escapee has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Rah from Kulgam.
The OGW was brought from sub jail Mattan to Srinagar court for judicial remand where he managed to escape.
Ishfaq was detained under FIR No 73 u/s 13 UL atc.
“He was to be presented before TADA court,” they said.
The OGW escaped from District court complex Mominabad Battamaloo.
