International flights that transit between Indian and Pakistani airspace have been affected after Pakistan claimed to have shot down two Indian Air Force jets from its air space.

Reports said that some flights are returning to the origin, while others appear to be seeking alternate routing.

Meanwhile reports said that Pakistan has immediately stopped its domestic and international flight operations from Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Islamabad airports.

Similarly government in Punjab has also suspended all the flight operations from its airport.

Earlier reports said that all the flight operations from airports in Jammu and Kashmir have been suspended.
