Srinagar: Body parts of two militants, killed in a gunfight with government forces, were found by locals from the debris of a house razed to rubble during a gunfight in Warpora area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
When contacted SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal told GNS that a police team was rushed to the spot as soon as the information was received in this regard.
“There was one arm and some organs of the militants which were found by the locals and they have been now retrieved by the police party,” the SSP said.
Following the incident, there were pro-freedom sloganeering by the locals. (GNS)
