On the fourth anniversary of Hizb commander Abid Khan, Tral observes shut down

Srinagar: On the fourth anniversary of Hizbul Mujhaideen Commander, Abid Khan, Tral is observing a complete shutdown.

All shops and other business establishments remained closed in the town while public transport remained off the roads.

Khan became popular after he shot dead a Colonel of 42 RR and a cop belonging to special operations group of police in the year 2015, before he too was killed along with his associate Sheeraz Ahmad Dar Aourigund village in a gun battle.
