Srinagar: Fresh snowfall occurred at several places in Kashmir Valley Saturday, with the MeT department forecasting more snow for next three days.

An official of the Kashmir Meteorological Department said that a western disturbance (WD) is presently active over Jammu and Kashmir and under its influence moderate to heavy snowfall is likely to occur in the valley till January 23

The Kashmir Divisional Administration has set up helplines to help prevent any untoward incident due to the heavy snowfall.

With fresh snowfall the maximum temperatures are expected to drop further.
