Srinagar:One person died and five others suffered injuries on Monday after a private vehicle collided with a passenger vehicle near Gund Thethar area of Ramban district on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
The deceased, a resident of Kishtwar, has been identified as Muhammad Abdullah.
Earlier, a bus carrying ITBP soldiers rolled down into a gorge near Khuni Nallah on the highway, leaving one personnel dead and several others injured.
