Govt forms panel on Rural Employment Generation programme

Srinagar: The Government has constituted State Level Monitoring Committee for implementation of J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP).

Headed by administrative secretary, industries & Commerce, the committee has been tasked to fix district-wise targets under J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme;

The nine-member panel has been also asked to review the performance/achievements made in implementing of JKREGP by KVIB. “The review should focus on total achievements in relation to target; administrative secretary, industries & Commerce Department.”

It has been also tasked to suggest ways for improving performance and to correct the imbalances if any.
