Srinagar:  Authorities on Wednesday suspended the train services on Baramulla-Banihal track over security concerns.

Officials said that the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the situation in the valley.

Three militants were killed in two separate gunfights in southern Kashmir’s Tral and Redwani villages on Tuesday while a gunfight is underway in central Kashmir’s Budgam district that ensued today morning.

The official said that no train shall chug from Baramulla in northern Kashmir to Banihal.
