Woman dies, several other suffer injuries in Uri road accident

Srinagar: A 60-year-old woman died on spot, while several others received serious injuries after the vehicle in which they were traveling in turned turtle at Uri in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla on Friday.

Reports said that passenger Tata Sumo (JK0F 9820) on way to Churanda village along Line of Control (LOC) turned turtle after driver lost control on the vehicle.

“A 60 year old woman identified as Begum wife of Beeru Jinder died on spot, while other passengers who were traveling in the vehicle recieved injuries and were rushed to local hospital for treatment.”
