ANANTNAG: In an anti-eviction drive, the officials of Forest Department, under the supervision of District Forest Officer (DFO) Lidder Forest Division today dismantled 3 kothas and retrieved 20 kanals of forest land in Comptt 17/L block Hapatnar of Mattan Range from encroachers.
The DFO has directed the concerned field staff of their respective ranges to maintain pro-active vigil in the vulnerable compartments by increasing off-road patrolling and “jungle gasht”.
