Srinagar: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler from Lassipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Acting on specific information, a team headed by SHO Litter and SDPO Litter arrested a drug peddler at Lassipora area and recovered 96 kilograms of poppy straw from his possession, a police spokesperson said today. One load carrier was also seized from the alleged drug peddler.
“A case FIR number 38/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation taken up,” the spokesperson added.
