Srinagar: National Conference spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu has resigned from the party, sources said on Tuesday.
Mattu, resigned as he has to contest upcoming civic polls from Srinagar, a news gathering agency reported.
National Conference and PDP, the two main regional political parties have announced boycott to the said polls.
Meanwhile, J&K National Conference has accepted the resignation of Junaid Azim Mattu from the basic membership of party.
