Speedy tipper crushes septuagenarian to death at Rafiabad in Baramulla

Srinagar: A speedy tipper on Tuesday crushed a septuagenarian to death in Chatusaa village of Rafiabad in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Identified as Abdul Jabbar War, son of Ghulam Mohammad war, the deceased was a resident of Chatusaa village of Rafiabad.

Meanwhile, police said that the accused driver has fled from the spot after the accident. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.

After the legal formalities of the deceased, his body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.

Police have filed a case and taken up investigations.
