Srinagar: A 13-year-old non-local girl on Saturday committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in Indra Nagar area of Srinagar, reports said.
The deceased has been identified as Jyoti, a resident of Amritsar Punjab.
Jyoti according to reports was working as a housemaid in the house of Rakesh Kumar, son of Raj Kumar of Indra Nagar.
Meanwhile, the police have initiated an inquiry proceeding into the matter.
