Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir People’s League on Tuesday said that the pious mission and sacrifices of people will not go waste.

It also strongly condemned the detention of its party chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza.

In a statement, it said that waza was arrested from his residence and placed him under detention on Monday by the authorities when he was scheduled to visit families of “martyrs” in the district.

Syed Aijaz Rehmani ad other party leaders Eng Fayaz Ahmad and Nisar Ahmad Rahter while paying tributes to slain youths of Islamabad and Kulgam reitereated to continued the struggle of right to self- determination till logical conclusion of Kashmir dispute.

It urged world community to take notice of Kashmir situation and pay their role for the resolution of Kashmir .
