Hyderabad: Five people, including four women, were killed and ten others injured, after an auto in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding car near Lingala in Rangareddy district early on Monday.
The driver of the auto Srinivas was among those killed.
According to police, about 15 women of Chennareddygudem started for Hyderabad to sell vegetables. When they reached Lingala, their auto was rammed by a speeding car. The injured were shifted to hospitals in Hyderabad and Ibrahimpatnam.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway, police added.
