Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir People’s League chairman Mukhtar Ahmad waza has said that “Kashmir dispute needs a political solution in accordance with aspirations of people of jammu and Kashmir”.

Waza said the Kashmir dispute has to be addressed and resolved in its “historical context” through tripartite talks with the “active involvement of all the stakeholders” including the Kashmiri people.

He said that the continous bloodshed in Kashmir was the fallout of lingering kashmir dispute and it was the responsibility of the International Community to build pressure on India to take concrete steps to resolve the kashmir dispute once for all.

Waza also condemned the killing of civilian and injuring of dozens of civilians by forces at Nowshera khiram area of district Islamabad.

Waza expressed deep sympathy with the family of “martyr” and has prayed for the speedy recovery of injured people.
