Srinagar: Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, on Friday urged the governor to complete the work that was left incomplete during her tenure in the wake of falling apart of the BJP-PDP government.

Mufti  met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan and  referred to certain important issues, relating to the growth and development of the State, which could not be finalised during her tenure and urged Governor to consider the same for early decisions.

Governor discussed with Ms. Mufti the need for all political parties and social organizations to join hands for regaining the trust of the youth and striving for the restoration of normalcy.

The Mehbooba Mufti led PDP-BJP government fell apart after BJP pulled out of the government citing increase in violence in the state as main reason.
