Srinagar :A Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched by government forces in frontier district of Kupwara on Tuesday morning.
Reports said that few firing shots were heard when a patrol party of the Army was passing through Dedikote forest in the district last night.
The forces launched CASO today morning against the hiding militants in the area.
