Government forces on Tuesday night arrested three persons including father of four children in nocturnal raids at Sugan village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

reports said that the raids were conducted in the village two days after an army Cassper vehicle was hit with an IED near the village injuring three soldiers.

Later government allegedly vandalized at least 60 houses including the house and damaged many apple orchards.

Locals identified the detained persons as Altaf Ahmad Seh son of Ghulam Muhammad Seh, Gazi Muhammad Bhat son of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat and Farooq Ahmad Najar son of Noor Muhammad Najar. They said that Farooq Ahmad is father of four children.
