Clashes broke out between government forces and locals in district hospital Pulwama after police allegedly detained the body of a civilian, sources said.
Sources said that police resorted to teargas shelling in hospital premises.
The civilian Bilal Ahmad Ganai of Narwa Lajoora, Pulwama had died in cross firing between militants and army at Dugam Kakapora last night.
Meanwhile an army man had also died after sustaining injuries.
