Militants on Monday afternoon attacked a minority police post and tried to snatch the rifles of the cops in Aarihal area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
Sources added that the cops retaliated and foiled the attempt of rifle snatching.
Following the attack, whole area have been cordoned off.
Pertinently eight service rifles were snatched in Srinagar since last one month.
