Two family members were shoot dead by unknown gunmen in Shangund area of Hajin in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district during night hours of Saturday.
Police spokesperson, said in a statement, that the militants abducted Gh Hassan Dar, 45, and his nephew Bashir Ahmad Dar, 26, from their house at Gulshan Mohalla.
He added that both were shot dead at around 3:30 am and their bodies were found by locals near mosque at another Mohalla.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigation taken up, police said.
