SRINAGAR: An army personnel was injured in a landmine explosion near LoC in Jammu And Kashmir’s Poonch district on Monday, officials said.
They said that the soldier on late Sunday night accidentally stepped on a landmine and suffered injuries.
They said the injured was shifted to a military hospital and his condition is stated to be “stable”.
The forward areas are of LoC are majorly dotted with landmines to prevent infiltration bids and get activated accidently. (KS)
