Govt Constitutes steering committee, implementation committee for Digital Agriculture

Srinagar, Jul 21: Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday constituted a steering committee and an implementation committee for taking the required policy decisions, monitoring of implementation and ensuring coordination among various departments for the Digital Agriculture (Agristack).

As per order issued by Principal Secretary to the government ,Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Chief Secretary will be Chairman of the steering committee while as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Agriculture Production Department will be chairman of implementation committee.

“The members of steering committee include Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, Administrative Secretary, Rural Development  Department, Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department, Administrative Secretary, IT Department, Representative from Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers welfare, Government of India, Director Rural Development, Jammu Director Rural Development, Kashmir and Director, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Kashmir and Director, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Jammu will be Member Secretary of the committee,” the order reads, adding that the members of the implementation committee include Administrative Secretary, Rural Development Department, Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department, Administrative Secretary, IT Department, Commissioner, Survey and Land Records J&K, CEO, JakeGA J&K,  State Informatics Officer NIC, J&KK,  Additional Commissioner, in the Office of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K, Director, Rural Development, Jammu, Director, Rural Development, Kashmir and Director Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Kashmir  while as, Director Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Jammu will be  member Secretary of the committee.
