APHC condoles demise of Hurriyat leader Musadiq Adil

Srinagar, Jun 06: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Monday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of its senior leader, Executive member and People’s Political Front Chairman Musadiq Adil.

In a statement APHC on behalf of the organisation, its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the Executive Council members and the entire leadership expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.

It paid tributes to Musadiq Adil for his services towards the Hurriyat Conference and the Kashmiri people, saying his demise has created a big void in the ranks of the organisation and the movement.

Hailing the late Hurriyat leader for his political insight, foresight and understanding of the Kashmir issue, the APHC said that Musadiq Adil carried forward the peaceful programmes of the Hurriyat Conference with full sincerity and dedication.

Paying tributes to him for his unwavering commitment the Hurriyat prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family members, especially his son Gowhar Musadiq and patron of People’s Political Front Fazal-ul- Haq Qureshi while assuring them that the entire leadership was with the grief-stricken family.

Meanwhile, several Hurriyat leaders and members visited Sopore and attended the funeral prayers of Musadiq Adil who was later buried in his ancestral graveyard.
