Srinagar, Nov 09: The Central Reserve Police Forces on Tuesday said that it was sending five additional companies to Jammu and Kashmir in wake of recent civilian killings, reports said.

Reports  said that the additional companies will be deployed in Jammu and Kashmir within a week.

They said that the forces had earlier sent 25 companies in Jammu and Kashmir in view of the civilian killings.

Notably, in the last two days suspected militants shot dead a civilian and a constable of Jammu and Kashmir police in Srinagar areas.

On Sunday evening, a police constable identified as Touseef Ahmad was shot dead by suspected militants in Batamaloo area of Srinagar.

On Monday evening, a salesman was identified as Mohammad Ibrahim was shot dead inside a shop in Bohri Kadal area of Srinagar. kns
